Job Description

As a Process Engineer - Cosmetics & Compounding you will oversee and manage the production team members and processes, and participate in new product and process developments. You will also be accountable for complying with corresponding Standards (e.g. ISO), Policies (e.g. HSE) and Legislation (e.g. ΕΟΦ).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Administrates and leads cosmetics’ processes and ensures full compliance with regulations and standards. Holds accountability regarding National Organization for Medicines (ΕΟΦ) and the compliance of soap manufacturing processes with the approved national standards. Ensures that soap manufacturing processes comply with ISO22716 standard for Cosmetics Good manufacturing Practices).
  • Creates, maintains and improves health and safety practices in the workplace. Cooperates with the safety engineer and the occupational health doctor to keep the work environment safe and secure for the employees. Ensures the compliance of the team members in your area of responsibility with the health and safety rules in accordance with the policies and the procedures of the company. Targets the goal of an accident-free workplace.
  • Cooperates with Central Maintenance and R&D Teams. Communicates issues and proposes improvements.
  • Takes part in new product/process development and new materials validation.
  • Contributes to the amelioration/ development of the departmental machines in collaboration with Maintenance team members. Proposes necessary alterations. Notes, analyzes, evaluates the productivity problems of the machines and suggests solutions.
  • Contributes to manufacturing team results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Coaches and counsels’ employees.
  • Designs and implements production plan by scheduling and assigning tasks. Evaluates performance of all resources. Takes corrective actions and reports to management using quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Applies the registered requirements of the Quality Management Systems and Company’s policies.
  • Collaborates with the other departments for the assurance, continuous work and the proper function of the production’s machines and the quality of the products.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor & Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in production FMCG environment (Cosmetic, Food, Pharma, Plastics Processing)
  • Very good knowledge of extrusion/injection molding and compounding materials and technologies.
  • Excellent English Command
  • PC Literacy
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
