Adecco is currently seeking, on behalf of its client, a multinational organization operating in the Telco industry, for a senior professional to cover the following position based in Attica:

The job holder will report to the Finance Manager and will have three (3) direct reports (Accountants). He/she will be responsible for the accounting coordination of the Greek subsidiary and the Shared Services Centre abroad.

Job Description
•Ensures the correct monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, so that the financial position of the company can be assured
•Monitors the strategy for the delivery of transactional activities of the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely processing in the primary ledgers
•Ensures timely and robust reconciliations
•Advising on current developments and proposing improvement measures
•Creation of transparency for the management of the business operation area
•Project management in overarching projects
•Allows control according to divisional and corporate goals through adequate consolidation and presentation of the key figures provided
•Communicates within the finance department and in other areas at work (Technology function) and management levels
Candidate Profile
•University degree in Finance or Economics
•Seven (7) years of working experience in a Big4 company as external audit (from the advisory services dep.) or finance
•Min. (3) years of experience in a supervisory role
•In-depth knowledge in the areas of controlling and accounting
•Holistic business evaluation of projects taking commercial and technical aspects into account
•Good knowledge of the telecommunications industry and telecommunications infrastructure will be highly appreciated
•Fluency in Greek and English language
•Proficiency in Ms-Office applications 
•Good understanding of accounting/finance IT tools (Sap knowledge will be an advantage)
•Excellent communication and organizational skills
•Very good conceptual skills, analytical and strategic thinking
•Actively drives decision-making processes
•Working independently, as part of a team and quality awareness
•High resilience
•Flexibility and ability to influence and communicate with various stakeholders (internal and external)
